The sheer ignorance of some of my American peers absolutely baffles me. The fact that most have not lived in another country for more than a few days manifests in every crapping behavior they choose to display. The honest disregard for acceptance, the homogeneity, the garish confidence, the lack of interest in one's national identities, or the irrelevance thereof, the dumb search for similarities rather than differences, the irredeemable cluelessness of their culture, like, oh my gawd. I can no longer believe I was able to live in this country for more than ten years... and many more to count? Well, there you have it.
