Life is a lot of filling in blanks.

I guess that makes sense since a void would also be void of meaning. Fill in time with an activity, and that time becomes "time well spent." Fill a wall with portraits, and it becomes a wall with meaning! Fill a camera with light, a sight, and it captures that moment--and many other moments--onto a roll of film. Then, people like me come along and take that roll of film into a darkroom and print out pictures, to further perpetuate the "meaning" of that scene. Beauty. Meaning. They tend to go hand in hand. Without meaning, beauty is but an empty crust.

Here we will share things that glitter... and seek to fill this void with

meaning, Our Passion.

Guichanaso.

Hum a strange, unmelodic sound. And then hum that on repeat.

No matter how absurd, if you repeat it, it sounds a little musical. More or less melodic. I guess our brain finds pleasurable anything that is simple enough that we can expect what will come next. Some pop music tends to do that.

Pop music bores after a while. Repetition wears out the ears. A small dose of abruptness always tastes delicious. It's uplifting, because it's unexpected. It's easy, because we don't have to feel obliged by any premeditation or expectations. But having just too much unexpected is too absurd. Having both is better. Then a little grace on top, mmm, that's the best.

See Da Funk/Daftendirekt by Daft Punk.
See Thousand Knives by Ryuichi Sakamoto.
See the first chapter of "Choke" by Chuck Palahniuk.

So I love suddenly starting this. More so I will, should this repeat. Hopefully, it'll be a little more.
