What irritates me more than anything right now is how the advertising industry tries to group kidults all together as "millennials" (i.e., supposedly, these children are born between the years of 1980 and 1994. Sorry 1979 and 1995!) and analyze us, as if we're an entirely different species no one could understand. How unfathomable, that the people who raised us, educated us, fed us are now asserting they no longer understand us, and instead of trying to communicate such concerns in a straightforward way they brand us an incorrigible mix of spoiled, entitled kids. Hello there, it was the intelligent folk from your generation who made technological advances, we simply adapted, and (believe it or not) are actually helping to prolong your legacy. Consider the possibility that perhaps it's your inflated ego and baseless confidence in what you think the ways of the world should be, that you simply can't stand to feel outdated.. Irrelevant, even.

I'm simply annoyed because my new project is to brief the directors on how to market to millennials.
