Many call me different names, but most of them only call me by one name that each of them prefer to use. I don't know remember why they chose each one. Maybe they thought it was funnier, just a better word to enunciate, or maybe just because they're not weird like most of my friends, and would just call me "michael." But you choose one, and it sort of sticks. Isn't it great to have nicknames; it a proof that I have friends! But isn't it also curious how that pronunciation of my name might have a bearing onto how they see and know me? How many percentage of me is made out of my names?
