I'm a guy, so I pee as I am standing most of the times. I also leave the toilet seat down most of the times. There's no reason to ever mess with that seat because you can pee while the seat is on. This causes some splashing though, which is the main problem it causes. Living in a house of 6 guys, it's really rare to see the toilet seat up. I know, it might sound pretty disgusting, but it works out really quite alright if you don't think about it. Today the toilet seat was up, so I thought, "hah". And thought about the facts about guys I just wrote about. Then the seat all of a sudden shut amidst my stream. Pee under the seat. Hah.
